Check Device Compatibility

Switch adapters work with most devices—even if your phone is not currently included on our compatibility list.

The easiest and most reliable way to check your phone is with the Switch Android App.

How to check compatibility

  1. Download and open the Switch Android App.
  2. Select the Phone tab.
  3. Find Slot State.
  4. Look for Available SIM 1 or Available SIM 2.

If Available SIM 1 or Available SIM 2 appears next to Slot State, your device is compatible with a Switch adapter.

  • Available SIM 1 or SIM 2

    Your phone is compatible.

An available SIM slot means your device can support a Switch adapter. You can choose the available slot when installing your adapter.

    Shop Switch Adapters
  • No Available SIM Slot

f neither Available SIM 1 nor Available SIM 2 appears, your phone may not be compatible—or the slot may already be in use.

    Before ordering, check that:

    • Your phone has a physical SIM-card slot.
    • The SIM slot is enabled.
    • Your device is carrier-unlocked.
    • The Switch Android App has the required permissions.
    • Your Android operating system is up to date.

If you are still unsure, send us a screenshot of the Phone tab in the Switch Android App.

Your Phone Is Not on Our List?

That does not mean it is incompatible.

There are thousands of phone models and regional variants, so we cannot list every compatible device. Switch adapters typically work with most devices that have an available physical SIM slot.

For the most accurate result, use the Switch Android App instead of relying only on a device list.

Important Requirements

In addition to seeing Available SIM 1 or Available SIM 2, make sure:

  • Your device has a usable physical SIM slot.
  • Your device is carrier-unlocked.
  • Your chosen mobile plan supports your device.
  • Your phone supports the network bands used by the carrier.
  • You follow the provider’s APN and roaming instructions.

Compatibility with the Switch adapter does not guarantee compatibility with every carrier, eSIM provider or mobile plan.
